We’re working on some great programs for our Chamber in 2012. Here are a few highlights:
- On January 3, 2012 Albert Tieche from the Metro Election Commission will be talking about the new voting law and encouraging area businesses to work with their customers in being informed about the changes.
- On February 7, John W. Ellis, Internet consultant, will be talking about using the Internet in your business, and how social networking can and should be a part of your marketing plan.
- We are also still working to have Deborah Varallo come and speak on PR and communications issues, and the Army Corp of Engineers to speak on the Old Hickory Lake watershed and issues affecting the community.
The Old Hickory Area Chamber of Commerce meets every first Tuesday of the month at 11:30 a.m. at the Old Hickory Country Club. Lunch is available for $10, payable at the door.
